THE SEVERN FORUM aims to provide opportunities for open theological discussion by means of lectures and discussion groups on theological topics. An ecumenical society, founded in 2000, it has been registered as a Charity since 2003.

ITS PROGRAMME consists of four or five lectures a year by specialists from all traditions. The lecture topics cover wide areas of theology in the context of contemporary society. Normally, one lecture a year concentrates on world faiths and inter-religions dialogue.

LECTURES normally take place in the Main Lecture Theatre, The Park Campus,  University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham.

DISCUSSION GROUPS are held in Minchinhampton and Cheltenham.

MEMBERSHIP is open to all. The annual subscription entitles members to free admission to the lectures, to receive the full text following the lectures, and to take part in Discussion Groups. Non-members and students are welcome to the lectures: full-time school and university students free.
